Steven_W Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 I'm familiar with the CCTV mule product from systemq, I spoke to them yesterday they said 2 HD cams cannot be chucked down 1 cable... anyone know of a product to get around it? (Install already done, all cables chased in to walls/under flooring/inside metal conduit, wants 1 more camera) Not one of my jobs, just helping out a mate. Any one know of a way round it without recabling? I suggested changing DVR for Tribrid then changing the 1 HD cam for 2 x analogue but they do not want to do that... all... Steven_W Posted November 21, 2015 Author Share Posted November 21, 2015 Bloody hell I suppose I could try that... where he wants a 3rd cam there's already 2 on a pole mount, I suppose if I could get that to work I could split the power from 1 to 3 cams leaving the power spare & try it... I hadn't thought about that, but will baluns work for AHD? I did see an install on analogue before that had baluns on alarm cable and it was fine, good picture. Use hd baluns.
