We just want a nice DVR that will do ARC reporting, have a set/unset input audio and nice apps.. Not much to ask......

 

Amen to that.  We used SD's almost exclusively for ARC reporting of cctv, great for Netvu viewing and reviewing alarms etc, but the App is poor and the supposed '30 days' recording you order is just so piss awful quality its unuseable.

All the SD we have fitted have been full of bugs. Not sure how long they are on the shelves for before we buy but the software is always a couple of versions out of date.

Will have to try that App too.

We used to only really use DM DVR's/ NVR's now we don't use any apart from some clients that request them.
 

 

Mainly use Truvison now,App for that is good too.
