Allen Hall
Hi Does anybody have any experience of the Risco LightSys ? Is it any good and will it send SMS over PSTN or does it need the gsm module ? All comments and advice greatly appreciated Thanks
Alarm Protection
I would fit a GSM module anyway tbh. Quote !
Allen Hall
Ok , would this give me any benefits etc over PSTN apart from the obvious availability of communication path ?
paul44
Fitted a few of the lightsys 2 they seem ok, much easier to programme if you do it via laptop. You will have to fit a gsm unit if you want to send texts. If you want it to send voice messages you will need to fit a voice module. timmo66
I really like it to be honest, you wont find many risco fans on this forum though which is a shame.
