norman
Just like the gynae clinic @ your local hospital. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Paul. Giles
I thought the general consensus was not to bother replacing the external box as no-one notices except for other installers.?

datadiffusion
I would, but either way, I suppose it depends on how **** the old one looks. Never done a replacement system yet where the old BB wasn't an absolute shambles inside. Funniest ones were weirdly two stainless City alarms on two different jobs. No. 1, guy tells me to be careful as he had a handyman round a few years ago 'he said he'd fixed itand it was very loud then'. LOL as I open the box to find it totally empty with 'live' wires hanging out... No. 2 Could have fed the French army with all 50 snails living inside from the warm glow of a faulty PCB consuming about 300mA! God knows how they got in/out So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
