"ticking" Ts700

Guardall PX. Risco has one or two zones although not fully programmable (think they are E/E and access or part E/E depending on what value resistors you use)

Hello,

I have a system with 2x TS700 control panels. It works fine, but when the system is not armed one of the panels makes an irregular but consistent noise rather like a ticking clock. I think the noise stops when the system is armed.

I believe this panel is no longer made, but can anyone suggest someone that could repair it? If not, a simple and (hopefully) cheap replacement.

I am based in north London (N7).

Thanks,

John

i wonder why two control panels? i have seen it done for perimeter and internal.

I'd consider as they are now both old, one apparently on the blink to simplify unify and replace with one modern panel, get a warranty thrown in.

thats on the GardtecG5/600 range. one zone only, selected attribute via resistor size. Not available the Risco panels.

He means keypads I suspect, not controls.

Hello,

I do mean two keypads. We have two entry doors.

The noise persists when the system is armed.

How many posts do I need to make to be PMable?
