has anyone turned up to a system that is suddenly not registering a detector ? system sets but units not triggering the system even on walk test.... any ideas ?

How are they programmed? How are you setting it ? have you checked the double knock settings ? The Ab does have a memory problem but normally it forgets the user codes not zones

hi, thanks for the reply, this system has been going for years and the programming hasn't been touched, the only thing we had to go out to was a o/s tamp fault due to weather.....

Faulty detector? Cable fault?

I would say its a faulty detector.

That would concern me, the customer is unlikely to test it daily to make sure its working what if it stops again how would the customer know?

Was going to say, you trust it now!?

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
