Internal Sounder

Featured Replies

Hi there,

Owing to an electronic fault on the circut board of my Reson8 bell box, I bought and installed a replacement.

When I installed the alarm system (G4 Accenta) I stupidly did not make provision for an internal alarm sounder.  So, rather than throwing the Reson8 away, I wonder if it is possible to cut off the sounder unit (not the circut board) and wire it directly to the G4 Accenta terminal, hence giving me an internal sounder?

Yes?  No?  Forget it?  Should work?

Thanks

Rex

No, id expect that unit to be a piezo and needs the board to up the voltage. Its not a 12v or dc component

Thanks for the replies.

The solar bell is not what I'm after as I want an internal sounder.  I have looked at the Sound Bomb, but the niche  where the alarm control box is installed is not large enough for the Sound Bomb
