Paragon Plus House Alarm - Don't Know Code

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My paragon plus alarm has triggered and I don't know the code to switch it off! Help please!

Basically, we have never used this alarm and neither did the previous owner. I've been in my house 2 years and we're redecorating. I thought it would be a good idea to remove the sensors and alarm rather tan paint around them, since we never use it. Bad idea! It triggered the tamper alarm and I've now bashed a few buttons trying to stop it. But now it's got worse the fire and personal attack alarm lights are now flashing and its beeping even worse and wont stop.

I've tried both default codes of 1234 & 5678

Any suggestions welcome and appreciated

I subject you contact a local approved installer. (SSAIB or NSI) www.yell.co.uk

Defaulting infomation and engineer manuals cannot be given out on this site due to the nature of their content.

IMO this type of system is not worth repairing. As you dont use Id suggest just having it shut down.

If there's a fused connection unit near the alarm or a breaker at the mains board with "alarm" on it, turn it off and let the batteries die. Then call out an electrician and have them remove it. Or an alarm co if they turn out cheaper. Or your mate from the pub.
