Alarm Protection Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 We do CCTV for a company and thiefs caught on camera but then disappeared. They were jumping down tunnels that went under the site and had their escape routes on sub stations out the premises. We installed videofied and bang... A call came in that there was a guy in the substation..... Little did I know but the company got hold of 4 Gurkha ex army boys and they were waiting for the 2 guys to come back through the tunnels at the substation. 1 head popped up and bang..... These 2 poor guys were wrecked in a 5min doing. Slab laid back down.. Police called then ambulance once the police looked at them. No issues on that site now and we installed another 10 cameras on police response. Those Gurkha troops were hard as nails. Police just shook their hands and a well done. ! Could turn and kick over my head and spin back before I had countered the first! Always showed me respect, shared his currries with me at lunch time. Top man. Another reason I love Joanna Lumley, not only the best "Purdy" but a advocate for the Gurkha`s They give so much for us and get **** all in return, not even the same Army pension.
