id guess the meter was in line with the pos lead? 

but id guess your reading charge current?

its a lot of guesses i know but hard facts/readings are needed. as above you cant test a battery with a dvm period.

I would advise you phone a local company to fix and maintain the panel for you tbh.

I have helped with my posts before the last one.

Panel could have defaulted, default panel and re programme, do battery tests....... Then if op can't repair get and engineer in. What is the problem with that?

Yes thats ok, Ill try the above tomorrow.Apart from the current on the battery as I only have a fluke meter. So I will just replace it. Thanks very much!
