January 21, 201313 yr comment_301587 Im looking for opinions on the following. I have a new I/A to be policed. I have double leaf doors with one side bolted shut. Should the bolted door cont be entry zone or normal alarm. Im unsure as technically this door is on the entry route so shouldnt get confirmed alarm. But it is internally bolted shut so i wondered if it would be acceptable to set up as normal alarm zone. Any thoughts? January 21, 201313 yr Author comment_301593 Thats the response i expect. I think its a shame tho as its a bolted door the customer is unlikely to be opening both doors and then timing out! But i understand the entry route restriction Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/33939-bs8243/#findComment-301593 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 January 21, 201313 yr Author comment_301617 Cant wire them on same zone without doing it double pole as its a m series panel. Two alarm shunt resistors equal tamper! Stupid mistake from menvier. But will just have to have it on entry zone.
