October 23, 201213 yr comment_292581 We have a Scantronic 9651 which has suddenly come up with a 'Batt Missing error'. I am assuming it is referring to the 12 volt battery in the control unit. I have checked, the battery is there and it measures 13 volts, also checked the battery fuse. I tried disconnecting the battery and the mains, just in case something had got confused and needed a power reset. Anyone seen anything like this before? Any advice would be must appreciated before I condemn the control unit to the bin. Many Thanks. October 24, 201213 yr Author comment_292686 Thanks Guys, The battery has been tested out of circuit, with a load attached to it, and it is able to supply plenty of current. However I will get a new battery anyway and give it a go.
