ive found that out from when you said it was kantech on the phone earlier. But it appears the smaller (ie this one) is either wiegand or their own protocol.

Im guessing they are wiegand ones. Or is there a jumper etc that sets the mode. If i can use them id prefer due to decor. Plus there is 27 of them

The readers have clock and data I am pretty sure, I can ask my mate but he is pretty incoherent at the moment due to Ramadam and the heat

According to Kantech they are xsf format or 26bit weigand

yes they are. Im looking to put in videx or act. Other quotes are paxton based... all of em

Andrew would know if they would work with ACT I dont know about Videx, they definately wont work with Paxton. They would work with Sensor Access

While im not a fan paxton is very flexible, plus they do have their sdk which i find very very useful
