Should I install a total wireless Visonic powermax pro or go for Hybrid Risco 495x, I can run cables before the carpets go down.

neither. one way wireless is poor imo. Unless your looking at the visonic 'g' stuff.

go for a 2 way wireless system and avoid 1 way. 1 way assumes signals will arrive. when they do dandy, but what if they dont?

Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.

If you are going the Hybrid route, the ONLY system to use is the HKC SW1070 it is superb. Google HKC alarms Ireland for the url

It's nice to see another installer that likes quality. I was raised on Scantronic 9500's and Galaxy's along comes the SW1070 blows that lot out of the water. Thanks for agreeing.

Gardtec do reasonable hybrid kit with the 500/600 range. Fully wireless the Enforcer is pretty nifty. Can you wire the whole lot? or are you just looking to cover yourself for future usage?

But the 500/600 is still 1 way wireless though isnt it?
