wonderboy2012
Hi all. I am a relative newby so go easy on me, all help welcomed gratefully. I am installing a 9 door access control system using janus (IDC) and i need to trigger a local sounder triggered by door wedged. Can i do this via the on bourd outputs, or via the sounder terminal descripted on the IDC board. Many thanks to all replys. breff
Janus is horrible, its like using windows 3.11 And did I say how expensive it is, and how they will not give you support unless you have been on their training course and can give them the site id or dongle number The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/32675-janus-idc-query/#findComment-282203 Share on other sites

Cubit
And how you have to renew your service contract with them each year, andeach software component is an additional charge. Oh, and that if you miss a year (or 3) you have to pay for those years too if you want service agreement back. Horrible kit and seriously overpriced.
