Hi,

I have a newlec nl5702n fire alarm system and have recently had a dector go faulty (Menvier MID710) where it has been triggering the alarm. I have tried it in another location with the same problem moving with it.

My question is whether I can use any Menvier 700 series dector in the base unit for the dector as I have or can get hold off a MDP 720.

A menvier head & base is likley to only work correctly with menvier fire controls (eg; head removal)

if the system works on a 4k7 alarm a s60 head should work. ( i think)

I would have thought the manufacturer technical could answer this question in around 2.4 seconds (time them and see)..
