Collectors
Hi, i am just about to purchase a Texecom Veritas Excel panel & would like to have a cupboard that has valuables & a safe in on 24 hour security but am not sure what to set the panel at to achieve this. IE: if the alarm is turned off for normal house use i would want the cupboard alarmed until i want to go in there. I could set it as PA or Fire, but thought there would be a better way. Any suggestions. Image below gives the options in the left column. Many Thanks Chris
MrHappy
zone omit unit + 5 level shunt lock is the better way Mr Veritas God
james.wilson
agreed, but you could shunt the circuit with the shunt lock if its not certed. I think you need a more powerful panel to do it inside the panel with programming securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. Collectors
Thanks for getting back guys, in my old house i had an old Karizma ID Panel (The one with biscuits) & this had the facility to leave the safe on 24 hour if needed, but seeing as i have not purchased the panel, any recommendations on panels that might have this facility. Prefer texecom but not inessential. Thanks PS> Just on another note! any suggestions where to purchase a co2 detector & a LPG gas detector for the system. Smoke & heat are no problem, but these 2 seem to be illusive. (Moved to the country & have log fires & LPG cooking)

sixwheeledbeast
IMO Premier 48 would be better than a Premier 24. As for CO2 detectors there are Honeywell Units that have a relay output. SF340J (Low Voltage) or SF340F (Mains/Battery) Also there's Honeywell LPG detectors (Z10 series).
