Ip Enabled Panels

Recommended Posts

The Scantronic iON 40 has built in IP functionality. Are there any other panels with an ethernet controller onboard?

Texecom provide the COM IP and receiving software for their panels. Do any other manufacturers do something similar?

Particularly interested if Honeywell have an IP communicator for the ex-ADE range.

NOTE: I'm not interested in anything related to Chiron, WebWay or Emizon.

You mean like an Optima with an IP module? I don't think so mate

Not sure there's any standalone IP communicators on the market either

How about a nice Redcare/Dualcom :P

Was thinking more of Accenta's, but an IP enabled Optima would be a great product.

LOL - If someone turns the clocks back to the 1980's, I'll be sure to check them out ;)

You looking for something like this?

:punk: something exactly like that. I need to track this guy down to find out what he can do.

I used to work with 9100's many moons ago and now I use the VB.Net programming language which is what this guy was doing in his video.

I'm interested in any low cost, simple IP devices that can transmit anything from a single event triggered by the bell output, up to full zone/user information from the panel modem or RS232 port.

No encryption, no grading required, just a simple device for DIYers. I've got one of these puppies in my draw but have never managed to get into it..... http://uk.rs-online.com/web/0419968.html

Are there any nerds amongst you that reckon you could get an IP Packet out of something like this if it is connected to a panel output?

I'd like to IP enable those hundreds of thousands of Optimas out there ;-)

the hacked 9100 appears to be little more than doubling up of the keypad membrane & capture of the real the membranes input ?

or the lack of satus shown of the pc leads to think this ?
