Long Range Ir Lamps For Ptz Use

I need to achieve 300m ish on a spot IR beam fitted to the cheek of a ptz unit.

Only used derwent and Dennard/dm in the past. But i cant find any range specs for the derwent stuff anymore since bosch bought them?

ANyone have the details?

Is this any help? - just bought some UFLED units for myself.

850nm Range

Model - Beam - Achievable Distance - HOV

UFLED10-8BD - 10° - 220m (720 ft) - 40m (125 ft)

UFLED20-8BD - 20° - 150m (490 ft) - 55m (175 ft)

UFLED30-8BD - 30° - 110m (360 ft) - 60m (195 ft)

UFLED60-8BD - 60° - 70m (230 ft) - 80m (265 ft)

UFLED95-8BD - 95° - 50m (165 ft) - 110m (300 ft)

UFLED120-8BD - 120° - 35m (115 ft) - 120m (400 ft)

anyway to get a bit more range at 10 degs?

You could use 715nm lamps the CCD will "see" more of the infra red light then, but the unit will be more visible.

Or the huge Bosch Super LED range specs are:-

The unit is 270mm x 214mm x 71mm

Modal - Beam - Achievable - HOV

SLED10-8BD - 850 nm - 10º - 320 m(1050 ft) - 52 m (170 ft)

SLED20-8BD - 850 nm - 20º - 200 m (655 ft) - 70 m (230 ft)

SLED30-8BD - 850 nm - 30º - 160 m (525 ft) - 85 m (275 ft)

SLED60-8BD - 850 nm - 60º - 110 m (360 ft) - 130 m(425 ft)

Cracking kit IMO.

Aegis kit adjusts its power over time to compensate for LED degrdation.
