Yuasa battery is agree, we use them and enersys

Elmdene are the best g3 door contacts imo.

Rest of it seems fine but id go for a honeywell 7550 due to it having k band microwave.

I checked the specs of the K-band PIR and will go for it even as the price varies by less than a pound. I take your advise that this is compatabile with the texecom premier.

I will probably get the comip with the premier 48. Do I need a usb-com as well? I understand the latter is only required to connect directly to the control panel whilst the ComIP will allow a user to do the same thing over the LAN... Is this correct?

Yes that is correct, you should be able to use the com ip locally too.
