My error was for a bet. ( Although two fine children from the bet).

A very well defined young girl worked in the packing dept of the locksmith/Alarm company I worked for. Just turned 16 ( I was 28).

Another member of staff in the pub one night said she had turned him down for a date. I laughed and said you always get a first date. A plan was forming.

I said for a £50 bet I could get her to go out with me, he agreed.

On the Monday I went to the office and got her to one side and asked.................."Wanna earn £25 quid?"

When you could go out on £25, so a fair amount.

She agreed.

We hit it off.

She asked me out the next day, rest is history.

We were fine till we married, then it went tits up. Such is life.

She still knows i`ll always help and assist her. You cannot hate the mother of your children after all.

And never regret the 11 yrs or so we had together.
