My Xvision software only recording 3 hours but I've got 3 300gb hard drives and it's nit using more than 1% if them, any ideas?

is this a dvr or are you trying to record onto your pc?

i might be wrong, but is this software as used by geovision? if not, and it may be simular, you you have to set the software up to use a declared portion of a hard drive, then make sure that figure allocated is no where near a full drive capaicity, better to use dedicated drive.

allowing pleanty f room for windows temp file - or it crashes.

I presume you don't have a settings set to 3 days, what happens when it stops?

I would presume that you need to allocate HDD space for recordings, so check the record or system setup but be careful what you allocate as Arfur has mentioned or you could overwrite the operating system.

is this the free one that comes with the cameras?
