out last Sunday with Grandkids in car, come across a really flattened pigeon in the road - it drew comments of disgust an uks, so i said don't worry kids - its just part of the Essexs new 'meal under wheels' sandwich service.

my youngest a 6 year old girl, simply would not talk to me as a sensative show of disgust, while the two boys aged 11 & 12 were just falling about all over the back of the car

Me? ... I get on better with 10 year olds than I do with adults.

10 is a good age,they dont think they know every thing yet.

don't kno about you, but i find the older i get the younger the ones you get on with are.

had imo one of the best complements ever, it honestly brought tears to these sceptical eyes of mine, my oldest grandson (being so is obviously special) to whom everything and every one in the world 'suck's' apart from Xbox live and is 'boring' - out of the blue spontaneously labelled me 'the worlds coolest Grandad',

just chokes me up, you just can'y buy that that sort of show of affection and respect from kid.
