if it isnt the fuse please tell us rather than be anal about a reply.

Norm,you might be right not played with a 3 or 5 series for ages. Think the lid tamper was the same as the bell tamper.

did you miss my earlier helpful post? or have you got the Byngs?

the 370 has one fuse - ergo how would the keypad still work if it was blown?

But isnt the 270 an onboard keypad unit? if so that part wouldnt be fused?

that would be the 350, 581.

At one time you could order a 370 with seperate fuse output for keypad but TBH I never saw one. If it was the fuse the O/P would be mentioning a low level buzzing from the keypad but no text.

so the 350 was onboard the 370 was blank end station with remote keypads?

350 doesnt have the 2digit text display just LED`s ...... horrid little panel
