that info is straight out of 50131 mate you shouldnt be using 4 digit codes on en systems. I assume the inspectorte have made you go back and chnage all G3 systems to 5 or above

We put all our galaxy's on 6 digit.

NO they are still on 4 digits.

Dont have the regs to hand however IF you read them there are exceptions.

Customer permission required to allow eng access on my systems then only need 4 digits. (I could be wrong)

woosh, sorry mate you are wrong, there aint an exception on code length, customer permission is required as you say on all systems.

What did your inspector say about it? ie did they say that it was ok IF customer permission is required?

Can you give a good reason for half the regs................................no. but you should still follow them.

The differs is a lot of piss bet your bank card is 4 digits and thats more important than the eng code !!!!!!!!
