i remeber when the scottish nationalists kept banging on about how much money HBOS and RBS made for the UK, Oil and gas etc and wanted scotland to have more independance and be more like iceland.

These institutions you have mentioned are Scottish in name only the only reason their HQ's are still in Scotland is because the nationals kicked up a stink when they tried to move them to England.

I think we hold our own for a country with the population the size of London.

Speaking off morph, and off topic but the man who's TV show spawned morph and helped the guys behind morph go onto greater things, those being Wallace n Gromit, Mr Tony Hart died yesterday aged 83. A little known fact is that the Original Blue Peter logo from way back, he did that.
