dewaltdave
ok i've got my meter out but i can't seem to find the illusive clean pair. I can get 6.8kohm with the contact closed and 0ohm with it open. It's the widest range of resistance i could find that differ when the contact changes but i think they need to be the other way round. Does that make sense? james.wilson
id suggest that is the interfernce cores you have, ie its a grade 3 contacts. But im fairly sure they have a clean pair, i know for a fact the roller shutter G3's have but cant say ive ever needed a clean pair on the std ones securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. dewaltdave
think i found it 0.03 ohm contact closed Infinite ohm contact open When i say infinite, its the same reading as when i don't touch the two meter leads together. That should do it shouldn't it? It's red and black for reference. dewaltdave
So it's been a while since the last post, its all wired up and the circuits open and close like a gem. Perfect. But . . . when i attemp to change anything, like setting EE zone or change timings, strobe confirm on set etc it doesnt seem to save any changes? both zones (door & pir) are coming on as immediate intruder but i want the door to be EE with time delay? Any suggestions?. dewaltdave
absolutely brand spankin' i have the manual but i think im getting lost in the programing part of things. If I were to "spec" the system requirements, could someone write me an step by step guide to code it up i.e prog 1, 2 set etc? Its only a 2 zone simple setup. FASTCAR
The default factory set -up should do you. zone 1 e/e ...use for the door zone 2 inhibit...use for p.i.r. you wont need prog 2 / 3.
