Default Passwords For A Digital Sprite

Featured Replies

Hallo there

dont know if this sort of topic is allowed, but i have a (yellow octagonal bell box style) dm ds 2

but i haven't been supplied with the default passwords other than the standard one for viewing over a network,

can anyone send me the default password to make changes to the unit over the LAN?

Hi Alex

It's not security contol equipment defaulting so theres no problem in providing the info IMO.

Sorry I can't help but maybe some who can will be along soon.

cheers

:)

The manual with the details in is on Dedicated Micros website, there is also a pdf with new pw defaults for later versions on the same page.

Just google for Digital Sprite 2 and go to the dedicated micros page that is probably the first result...

As far as I am aware, the unit itself has no passwords in it. (is it an old one? Cos the DS2's are all silver now, is it niot an eco range unit?)

Anyway, the passwords are:

Webpage config:UN=dm, PW=web

Video FTP: UN=dm, PW=ftp

FTP: UN=dmftp, PW=ftp

Telnet: UN=dm, PW=telnet

Serial config: UN=No user name or dmconsole1(on newer ones), PW=no password.

Hope this helps.
