March 13, 200719 yr comment_158054 Hi, I am looking for an alarm that will go off if a door is propped open. The closest I have found to my needs is the Exit Stopper from STI, but the delay isn't quite long enough. Specifically I would like: Mains Powered Reasonably Loud ~ 100 db Magnetic switch A delay of around 1 minute after the door is opened before the alarm goes off (but preferably adjustable) Continuous sounding until the door is closed Reset on door close Reasonably vandal resistant. Anyone know of anything that would fit the bill, in the 100 pound range. thanks Alex Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/16607-drop-prop-alarm/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 These bits should be less then ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Life is like a box of chocolates, some bugger always gets the nice ones! March 13, 200719 yr comment_158068 Yes you will need a P.S.U and sounder and if you have a look at our datasheet, it doesn't include the other equipment. So dont forget, you will need a 240 volt supply (Part P qualified Electrician), screws, Raw plugs, Cable, dare i go on LOL Regards Richard And a psu and a sounder! March 14, 200719 yr Author comment_158173 Many thanks for all the replies. The ACT looks very nice - but probably a little complex for our needs what with all the extras needed. HED Solutions Model EX206 seems to meet our needs and is all-in-one. I have a tame Electrician on staff! Thanks all Alex Do get your local alarm company to have a look as well, there is every chance your intruder alarm panel can be set to activate an internal alarm on 24 hour setting via a delay.
