I would order one for Xmas but the yacht I was keeping my gold bullion in sank.

Interesting concept, linescan photography!!! They also have a 470Mb 360 degree version on the website. I doubt you will ever see it on the CCTV circuit however as

a. As soon as it enters the security arena it infringes on at least 2 patents held by SentryScope

b. The following statement comes from the SentryScope inventor Steve Smith "They indicate that availability is Q1 2007. I searched their site, and that of their referenced customers, wiithout finding a single example image from the device. All of the images they show are only about 1,000 pixels high.

This will be a very difficult design for them to get working-- the technical challenges in the optics alone are enormous."
