Thanks for the help DNS, yes I do have the manual but regrettably the manual assumes some previous knowledge and experience with understanding the diagrams - of which I regrettably have none. The wiring diagram showing the resistors, I cannot, despite my best attempts relate back to the aboard and my PIRs. Sorry to be dumb ......... but your guidance is much appreciatred.

"georgahti", I must thanks you for you input, however your information and usefulness is not unlike your hair I'm afraid - a little sparse.

:hmm: did you have to take advice on how to get the box open as well.......(the cardboard one) :P

to be honest if you can't get it work with the "peter & jane" drawing in the box, get it all hung on the wall & find a man who can....

Texecom premier 24

have a look at this pdf it shows triple end of line pir for grade 3 installs notice the two wires

one resistor 4k7 ohms goes across the alarm pir terminal the other resistor 2k2 goes from the alarm to the tamper.

you should have received an Addendum look on page 3

hope this helps

Actually my link was a public site that supplys to the public such information

and therefore its not a trade site.

I would appriciate if you childish people would re instate the link and get your heads out of the sand when trying to help others.

very childish considering most on here are not even qualified anyway and, you act god like when people come on and ask a simple question.

with regards to resister colour codes, no, you wouldnt learn it that way at University

kat21

but its an easy and valid way to learn the resistor colour codes
