HI,

Can i use the galaxy gold software with a 16+ panel, and what lead / intreface do i need to connect to it?

Can it be done over ethernet?

Yes you can use gg but you will need the correct software version for your panel, you need a lead sold by honeywell and a RS232 module.

Old galaxy gold covers all galaxys that will take a comms mod (which yes i think is all of them)

new remote package does all old galaxy classics 16+ (with issues in logs) and the new g3's

But not the g2's

You need the g2 package for these but they are in the process of merging these app so that there will be the g2 package (the easier one) and the full blown one

Correct, all galaxy classic series are supported including the 8 and 16.
