May 14, 200620 yr comment_99148 Hi ! guys looking for some advice from your own experiance if poss, simple job with controls of mains complication, have to install 2060 dome to sprite2 with sprite control joy stick keyboard problem is that if I have to put the psu unit adjacent to the dome it will cause problems wiring mains to it,but if I can site the psu 25mtr away and supply the low volts via a two core cable of 1.5mm then the job is easier question; can you do this or not ?. May 14, 200620 yr comment_99151 You could do, but I think 1.5mm cable could be a tad on the small side due to volt drop. I suppose what I should have said was something along the lines of as long as volt drop calculations check out as fine then it should work no problems. May 14, 200620 yr comment_99188 Ideally psu should be local, however I have had 2060's work fine over 25m with 8core 'quadrupled' up when a static has been replaced later with a ptz. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/10572-dome-to-sprite-cabling/#findComment-99188 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
