The Veritas is fine for this purpose. More info at www.texe.com, they are easy to get hold of too.

Are there any real differences in security between a wireless and wired system, do wireless alarm systems still allow me to add different sounders or strobes and relays. Are there any high security DIY alarms that would give me the security I want for a budget of around

Different installers will give different answers - good Class 6 wireless offers good security and most "hybrid" systems (wired & wireless) will allow you to add different sounders, strobes and relays.

Are there any high security DIY alarms that would give me the security I want.Plus could you tell me the real reason why SAB's are so good, surely they are still quite easy to defeat.

DIY and High Security are really contradictory terms, if you want high security call in a professional installer.

SAB's just give an audible warning, alarm monitoring offers a response - we don't discuss ways of defeating systems here.

The PA4 is a specced down AJ600 !! (if such a thing is possible) , and if its the one I'm thinking of , it has PP3 batteries as back-up ,so I wouldnt recommend connecting a battery backed siren to it.The rest of the kit is poor also (A1 pirs) , shop around for a Texecom kit Veritas R8 , Odessey bellbox, couple of Prestige pirs etc.

Regards.

The prices above are from [urlhttp://ringtones.mobilefun.co.uk/. Also have a look at [urlhttp://ringtones.mobilefun.co.uk/.

You might want to consider the Odyssey 3 since its a bit louder than the 3E. 109db vs 115db.

There are plenty online shops , remember to add postage and wait around for it to arrive :( it can be problematic returning goods if faults arise.

Local electrical wholesalers usually stock alarm kits , and you can deal face to face.

Or why not consider having a local company give you a quote , it may not be that expensive.

Regards.

I didnt anyone would even think of making a specced down AJ600.

As the AJ600 is very, very poor to start with.
