neonred
Perhaps I should change the keypad to a key prox with an integral reader???
james.wilson
That wont work, your reader is acting as a key switch. your panel is too old to support native prox Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. norman
A simple keyswitch could be used. Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
neonred
Thing is, I am happy to use our keypad but we have an older member of the family now who will only activate the alarm if its easy for her as she is petrified of it going off in case she does it wrong. Key fob is perfect for her. She is nervous of losing a key or not being able to use the key switch in time. Key fob would be the best thing for her I think. neonred
Ok, I had a brief look when I last introduced an extra zone PIR to the panel and I noticed that it goes across zone 1 . Would the activation terminals be on the Trig terminals to left side of the panel under the aux supplies?? Thanks for your help...

neonred
Yes, I may do so but trying to hold out for a while. To be honest I have had no problem with the panel I have expanded it to almost full capacity now I am now just trying to get round this issue but I may well upgrade in the next couple of years or so.
