Their products are very good value for money, and 2 way to keep the 2 way brigade happy.

I really like it to be honest, you wont find many risco fans on this forum though which is a shame.

Hi has any one fitted these if so are they any good thanks
Never that model, but I used to find picture quality very good on other models. However, see below....
Not fitted that model but have fitted 600TVL Varifocal Techwin bullets before.
I like them.
How have you got on with failure rate?
Nothing but trouble over the two/three years of fitting them. And then they go and shorten the supplied cable which made replacing an ABSOLUTE nightmare.

The touch screen is only really to be used by the customer for everyday arming / disarming. It doesn't have the speed to keep up with programming up systems by the engineer.
I would agree with you on this Paul. I have recently benched my first LightSYS with the touchscreen. I am familiar with the programming side of it after using the Agility, but was slightly put off by the performance of the touchscreen while programming. Not to mention I am having to return it because the screen display has gone blank.
I am of the opinion that the end user will want the touchscreen because of the gadget world we live in now, as long as they don't experience any problems putting a code in or using a tag, then they will be happy.

I think I've made my views on Honeywell clear too.
Seems not just agility that have issues. This new prosys keypad I hear nothing but complaints it doesn't work. From an outsiders POV it seems they have some great ideas but only get 85% of the way with them.
I'd be interested to know what feedback you have heard on the touchscreen matt....

I must admit our company would of said
We will replace this part however X months and you would of had to pay £XXXs however if you pay £30 a month we will repair unlimited parts and unlimited call outs. Most clients take it.
£30 a month. Jesus, our maint contract is 70 + VAT for a year and people round here think thats steep. I think our company is in the wrong part of the country!

Faily sure the gals look for 680ohm.
Program a # in front of the engineer code and you wont need menu 48 every time
