Hey Guys,
Been busy but finally came round to providing an update.
So my supplier has suggested a nice piece of kit http://sherlotronics.co.za/code-hopping-/41-wall-mount-transmitter.html to transmit the signal back to the control panel.
What I still do not have an answer for is how to convert the relay signals from the alarm control panel into digital format for it to be managed and integrated into Milestone VMS. Are those Adams convertors the only viable option?

As I say P8221 has 8 hard wired inputs / outputs that you can then do what ever you want with.
-
A galaxy will integrate with milestone.
Why not use cameras with alarm inputs like Axis for instance then wire your protection into these. Then use a Axis p8221 if you want the alarm output in any lactation you want.
Or you could fit the P8221 at both ends saving loads of cable.
We have done the above without any problems at all.

What if we state that all complaints must be made via email?
-
We use our 0845 for eveything, as Jeff says I might add our 2nd line we use for UDL for our complaints number.
On that note our remote servicing is done via an 0844 number ported to our UDL 2nd line making us a little revenue, I wonder where we stand with that one?

awful panel, who ever designed the programming needs shooting.
Agreed, I hate the things.
In fact I would say a galaxy 2 or 9651 would be easier to program than this.

Pet filter fitted as standard in the kits, makes them pick up cr@p.

RS 100
It a good while since I worked on one of these
Programming is a nightmare and it has no NVM

We upgraded the last of them a couple of years ago.

We had been running exchange 2003 for years, we moved to cloud about 4 months ago. We now have one less machine running in the office.
