If you get the same manufacturer as the panel you will have EOL OOTB.
I don't really rate those cheap Honeywells, some nice quads will be much more reliable.
Much better down the line to have end-of-line than double pole to diagnose faults.
You don't have to unless they give you trouble , although it's probably more of DIY product now with it's problems
Just wire them double pole or correct resistors in place latter best way to go
Thanks for the quick reply. Just been an expensive month - car, washing machine and alarm in the same week!!! Trying to keep costs down
What's your reasoning behind replacing them...reliability?
Hi,
My ancient Accenta8 alarm panel has given up and I plan to replace it with a Texecom Premier Elite 24. I have swapped all the original PIRs for Honeywell IS312 as I decorated each room. Are PIRs basically standard and compatible with most alarms or do I need to replace the PIRs if I install the Texecom panel?
Thanks
Chris
Good morning,

Must be reliable and willing to learn.
Thanks
My local supermarket now is Tesco Express and Waitrose. I must say there is a noticeable difference between both, with price and quality. Its rare I spend less than £20.00 when I go in Waitrose for a few bits, and its rare I spend more than £10.00 in Tesco. I never buy the same stuff in either though.
I'd assume the fire doors & shoplifters ?
But could be anything ?
Sainsbury's is my preferred super market. then maybe Tesco ?
Morrison's is pretty much - unwashed scum of the earth which makes an Asda look posh,
My local Waitrose has an lovely "drain" smell about it, go in your workwear & security follows you
I have a nice Heron's & also Heron's on the council estates...these along with farmfoods are brilliant.
Go in the store in suit & says please & thank to checkout person & they think you must be a mystery shopper or from snooping from head office !
Is product available that is graded?
If yes then you cant use, if no then it would yes
Also there may not be a EN for that detector (id of thought it would fall under shock though)
Chatgpt makes things up maybe
Red intruder activation
White pulsing deterrent light at night or when set
Yellow indicator for fault
What you think ? Chatblag?
Hi All,
Bit of a compliance question here...
We have been asked to fit Honeywell SC100 seismic sensors on a G3 system however the SC100's dont seem to bear any security grading. I know these are used industry wide and they are "the right" bits of kit for the job but how can they be fitted on a graded system without affecting the overall system grading?
