Featured Replies

Does anyone know what cameras they use for the channel 4 reality show "Big Brother" both indoors and outdoors, as the quality is fantastic.

ruddy expensive ones i'll wager.

a customer of mine supplies the Tv broadcast quality equipment for hire to 'the trade'- mainly sony recorders and camera sets, and the prices really make you whince - put it this way, i always use my steps and don't clamber over any of the boxes - one crack and = instant new bankrupt.

if it needs moving i insist they do it, or i don't do any work there

but if you need that type of gear pm me for a phone number

Used a lot by City Centre schemes.

Manufacturer is Forward Vision systems in Hartley Wintney Hampshire. Speak to the Sales Manager John Lewis on 0870 0113131, he is a top chap.

The standard Mickey has the Sony 480 module as do 75% of the top professional dome cameras. Some of the external ones in BB have been adapted to platforms to hold Sony broadcast cameras

Or Richard malcom the m5 boy racer... hes as good as gold, looks like brian may though!

Can a fellow trade member PM me with a rough ballpark figure on how much these cost?

I've been quite interested in utilising this kind of camera in my line of work as it seems to give you access to all of the Sony block camera controls, very programmer friendly B)

cheers!
