Do you actually realise the difference between a camera housing and a camera?

It's probably a broadcast quality Sony camera with motorised zoom lens inside the housing, probably 3ccd too.

The pan/tilt unit is made by forward vision.

Just a rather critical update, I found the correct baud rates etc and the receive pins in the camera head, and I now have a fully working camera, YAY!

Now all i got to do is get ahold of FVS and order a proper cable to fit the bottom, unless anyone happens to have one kicking around?

Been quoted 3 weeks delivery on a genuine Forward Vision camera by two major suppliers. Does anyone know where I can get one on next day delivery.

Don't think you can get them elsewhere. From experience, we order ours 5 weeks before the jobs due to start. These cameras are so popular with customers that Forward Vision seem to struggle keeping up with demand. Good support though.

ECCTVS have given one weeks delivery time, I hope they deliver.
