September 2, 200520 yr comment_66937 If I disconnect the mains to make it safe to work inside the panel but leave the backup battery connected, wouldn't that allow me to put the code in? September 2, 200520 yr comment_66940 Yes it would, the disconnection of mains is for safety reasons. the battery will still keep the alarm running ok. thats why i mentioned it in my first post to stop if the alarm sounded when mains was removed and change the battery....
