What is O/P

Hello, What is O/P? In the Programming manual the options are PIR set latch and Shock reset. What is it used for, how to use it and what do the different options do?

Thankyou

O/P is output and this one is programmable.

When it is set as PIR set latch it provides +12V to the latch terminal of PIR's when set as when you wire multiple PIR's on one zone (not recommended) the LED remains on on the PIR(s) activated so you know which one triggered the alarm, or some similar variation.

Shock reset is pretty much the same and is wired to the terminal on compatible shock sensors to reset the unit after an alarm condition.

What panel is this for?

Hello, Thankyou Lurch for answering my question. I don't like giving out what panel I have. I don't think I will be using the o/p I was just wondering why it was supplying 12 volts.

Thankyou

Optima compact then ?

If you was to let members know the panel you have, then they could inform you fully of the output and what you can do with.
