I have recently moved into a new home that has the 700L securit system installed .

The previous owners say they never used the system.

So i have no 1 and 2 users codes and no engineers code.

tried a code that was wrote on the manual and no setting tone was heard and No wrong code dee dah was heard

No, that won't make it work, that will just make it worse.

You really need an engineer to visit to sort this out, if you post your location someone in your area may be able to take a look for you.

Why is it people bang on about wanting an engineer code.... what exactally are you going to do with it anyway??? Hows about asking the previous owners for the code?? If that doesn't work then you'll need a professional to do the job, if anyone could do it, do you think we'd all be in a job And more important if anyone could do it, what would be the point in having a code in the first place I think you might need some help from a nearby engineer

Aimed at me or him??? Me, default the panel, reprogram to the cutomers new requirements and add their chosen code for the.

Customer is going to do.... nothing!

Tim already wrote he doesnt have the codes and the previous owners didnt use the system.

He didnt ask for an engineers code either!

He only asked a pretty reasonable question under the circumstances!

Tim you really need an engineer to sort this one for you, as mentioned already, post your location and someone here maybe local to you and be able to provide the service at a reasonable cost. Otherwise find a local company in your yellow pages book.

SORRY Tim, see it takes a man with ba**'s to say that!! Misread the post, it seemed the first time you were suggesting you were after it. You would need it anyway if defaulting the system which it seems is what your wanting to do at a guess in order to reprogram it.... so the above post is relevent if you read all the posts properley first before passing comment I guess. Strongly recommend engineer coming out.
