Im not daft either... lol... youre right on the nail thats why I dident want to pay them any more. it's sort of stalemate. or I deal with another alarm company, they too will have to cold start the pannel.

I have 30 days left on my mobile phone contract, so im in no rush to get the number changed It just means I have to carry two MB phones one just for the shop at night.

Or divert the old mobile phone number to your new one as a short term fix :)

nice idea... Im the sort of person that likes to know how things work and sort out issues my self, this way I learn for the next time. I just hate paying. I think we all have this inbuilt in us.

this seams like alarm companys have a hold over joe public, I own the pannel, but with someleses secret in it. therefore I really have 100% ownership and only 80% control.

hmmm thats another debate for another day... lol....

Regards

So which company installed the system, how old is it

When you change phone contracts why not keep the same number?

Ive gone form contract to pay as you go, My monthly use was 4 calls = £2 and £15 rental just dident make sence to stay with a contract,

Sorry im a fair person I cannot name the company as they cannot fight there corner,

But my quess is they will come out tomorrow and change the phone number once money changes hands.

Thats ok we've worked it out anyway from the photos you handily posted on your website.

And i to my knowledge that company does not give out engineering codes over the phone.

The //.National Installer.// bellboxes on the wall you mean in the pic???

Oh very sharp well done but yes it is an //.National Installer.// box but I had it reset by another company, They have a sticker covering //.National Installer.// sticker.

I was quoted £140 call out fee for //.National Installer.// 7 months ago so I went with another local company, they cold started the system and donr the MB phone settings. As you know //.National Installer.// would not set the sestem to call MB phones in the first place as they wanted to go redcare only....

very sharp but not quite right.... I guess you boys often look at the front of shops... lol I dident realise the picture of the box was there.
