kieron
Hi all I have an ADE GEN 4 system It's been installed for about 10 years. Recently the alarm has been going off when unset. I'll enter my code and the screen reads 12345678 TP 00000000 00 Prompted to enter X and the system reads unset . About 20 minutes later the alarm goes off again. I'm sst here at 0500 waiting to see if it'll do it a third time Any ideas? Unfortunately I have made the master panel pretty unaccesble Under floor! All assistance very welcome I was wondering. The beĺl outside , might its battery need replacing ?? If 10 years no service or battery change, it's not might anymore , it's a must , provided no other damage has taken place But worth the try Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/47453-alarm-goes-off-when-unset/#findComment-531719 Share on other sites
sixwheeledbeast
Agreed. Control panel being inaccessible and unserviced is most likely the issue. That's if the system hasn't blown something in the meantime.
