GP1006 Posted Sunday at 13:06 Share Posted Sunday at 13:06 Hi All, new to the group. I have been given a new Floureon H.264 4 camera system. I have just fitted a hard drive. I am not convinced that the power supplies are correct. I assume one powers the cameras and one powers the video recorder One poweradapter says dc12v 2000mA The other 12v 2.5A Are these correct and which powers which unit Many thanks Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/47370-gp1006/ Share on other sites
sixwheeledbeast Posted Sunday at 14:24 Share Posted Sunday at 14:24 It's DIY stuff I doubt many here will have fitted it. I would look on the label of the DVR to see if it says how much current it requires. Then you can work out which is correct. PeterJames
From what Ive seen of similar recorders that we have ripped out they seem to run on 2Amp or above, the recorder will probably work on either to be fair. Pro recorders will normally have bigger, cameras will draw 500mA quiescent and 1Amp peak a bit more if they are IR or have lights Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/47370-gp1006/#findComment-530759 Share on other sites
