nmpuk
Sorry, hectic weekend. I'm a little confused but I this is what I think needs to be done: 1. Remove the link (Black loop) in the panel between 0v and TR 2. Put a link in between 0v and tmpf in the sounder 3. The green can be left as is. Does that sound right? thx nate Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/47353-eaton-g2sm-panel-and-risco-novagard-2-sounder-wiring/page/2/#findComment-530542 Share on other sites

james.wilson
OP it looks like you had the tamper disabled or linked out on your SAB. Al is showing what needs to be done to rectify it. I also assume it was linked out for a reason. Either though lack of knowledge or because of an issue they didnt want to tell you about. If the issue remains then wiring it correctly will give you a fault that previously looked ok as you had no fault. You still did it was just bypassed 1 securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. nmpuk
Thank you both, I'll have a look at this during the week and post back what I find after making the four changes. Thank you for clearing it up for me, as you can tell, this isn't my bread and butter, but much appreciate the help. My parents had this changed a while ago, but didn't mention any problems etc. reported by the installer - Hopefully it was just lack of knowledge, rather than an outstanding problem. Fingers crossed! Thank you! nmpuk Posted Thursday at 22:04 Author Share Posted Thursday at 22:04 So just wanted to update and wrap up this. Thanks to all the help and pointers, I updated the wiring as explained above, this afternoon, and all is working fine. No unexpected issues and alarm appears to be working just fine. Thank you all! nate 2 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/47353-eaton-g2sm-panel-and-risco-novagard-2-sounder-wiring/page/2/#findComment-530601 Share on other sites
