I currently work in the security industry for a company that specialises in wireless monitored alarm systems and I'm looking to expand my knowledge by sitting a cctv training course. If anyone has sat or knows of a course that would be suitable for a complete novice? Something that will give me adequate knowledge in the design installation and maintenance. I have been looking at the TAVCOM 5 day course but have been reading in reviews that the btec lvl3 qualification they give may not be recognised by some governing bodies. Not sure how true this is?
