November 22, 20223 yr comment_517058 HiJust installed a Texecom premier elite 24 metal case with an expander at a distance from the panel.Just need to know if I can add 2 bell boxes to the expander and what connections to use on the expander to add them. Also Just to let you know there are no other bell boxes attached to the panel, but attaching them to the expander if possible would make cabling a lot easier due to the distance. Thanks for any help. November 22, 20223 yr comment_517064 If you want to have SAB's then you need a PSU200XP. If in the quieter SCB mode then possibly but you will have to check your current isn't overloading the panel. You'll need to program the outputs and input correctly or it will FTO correctly. November 23, 20223 yr comment_517077 I did mention this in your Veritas thread, panels generally only have enough capacity to supply themselves, a keypad, sensors and one SAB. The maximum current that can be supplied by it's power supply is not always the limiting factor, you do calculations based on standby battery capacity. If you have 2 bells there is a low current mode on most new texecom SABs to let you get away with this Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/45398-texecom-expander-help/#findComment-517079 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
