Proper way to remove a bell box

Today i had to decommission our neighbour's alarm but the bell box was rusted shut so i ripped it off the wall and drowned it   im impressed that its still sounding underwater

You could of simply put the bell in engineer hold off mode, removed the power to it & then you wouldn’t of had any messing with it

Well i never liked the newer texecom odyssey and x series bell boxes in the first place 

And it was way more fun than removing it properly
